Building unparty.app took way more time, effort, and money than I imagined or even had.

Life happens, but a story is not going to pay the bills. You have to learn what you can afford to maintain and what you need to build and manage internally to keep your month-to-month costs low.

I had to build the foundation myself. I did not have the ability to hire anyone or have a full roster of dependencies.

I also knew ideas are not linear. This makes pursing them even more costly.

Building in unparty-app requires you to own your own data. To gain access to unparty-app you must have an active GitHub account.
