To build in unparty-app you must have a solid foundation

I have been through a good amount of tough times in my life to at least feel confident enough to suggest that one ingredient of happiness is to stay as grounded as your environment allows you to.

If I was going to see this through the following would have to be true.

When I started unparty-app the excitement was certainly there. However,

I sent many a text, email, application out to connect with people that could assist me in taking an idea that lived in my head into the real world.Plenty of no-responses and what I felt and took as suspicion of my ability to get this project off of the ground fueled this, "prove-it" energy that eventually got it done.

STAY GROUNDED

I think something that sticks out to me about building unparty-app was when I would write, I would write from a viewpoint of me being a victim of circumstance.

Some journals when I read them over felt so heavy that they require criticism to find the real truth. It made me an unreliable author to my own story.

Just writing for the pursuit of my own lost hope. Searching for something or someone to save me from what was. It was always a bit frustrating for me to reread some of my journals back.

For me refelecting is always about getting out a feeling.

THINKING.

This is the main reason I tend not to read over my journals. My goal was always to find a platform I could use to express myself. That was all I wanted.

I live my life quite unapologetically me that it borders the definition of asshole to some. Think I just got tired of people telling me who I was, so I spent some time getting to know myself.

I created.

I built.
